Archinodes began when Jeff and Mél, a couple of tech minded folks from Montreal, met during grad school and realized how much they enjoyed working together on interactive projects. In addition to her work at archinodes, Mél continues her life in academia, examining digital archives as part of her PhD in Communication Studies. While we're comfortable working with other content management systems, we've put our chips in with Drupal, which we consider to be the most powerful and flexible open-source cms available with an unbelievably kick-ass developer community.
