Pivoting Research Creation

A centre point. A counter point. In 2006, Pivot provided the space from which to respond to the shared and divided scholarly territories of visual culture. Concordia University's peer-reviewed graduate academic interdisciplinary journal brought together the Departments of Art History, Studio Arts, and Communication Studies in a forum for graduate scholarship working towards the exploration of diverse forms of art practice and production, as well as among art historical scholarship, visual studies, theory, and criticism. Pivot survived only 1 issue, but it was a beauty and got some press here and here.
