Balancing Act

Expire was a 10 day installation at Fonderie Darling in Montreal, by artist Nancy Tobin. For this, I did the photography which consisted of a shadow silhouette of the artist on a one-legged stool, next to Butterfly speakers. The shadow effect invokes the presence demanded of the installation. The font is a Public Domain font called "Blooming Grove" that I downloaded from dafont. This font requires particular attention to tracking and kerning, but once set right, it's a beautiful thing. We also used this font for the gallery installation wall, which you can get a glimpse of on node/19.
